Job Summary

Responsibilities:

Each duty includes a fifteen-hour teaching load per semester, in addition to students' advising, scholarship and community services. Responsibilities also include: serving on departmental and institutional committees; maintaining office hours, and developing new courses for the curriculum. Candidates must be able to demonstrate success in the use of instructional technology. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum academic requirement is M.S or M.B.A in the area. Doctoral degree (Ph.D./D.B.A) in Business is a competitive advantage. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in specific subject area of finance, management and marketing. Relevant professional and college teaching experiences is a plus. Candidate must demonstrate capability of on-line teaching skills/experiences. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is necessary.

The history of Talladega College began on November 20, 1865, when two former slaves William Savery and Thomas Tarrant, both of Talladega, met in convention with a group of new freedmen in Mobile, Alabama.
