  1. Perform all major office typing using word processing for Dean and other division faculty.
  2. Serve as principal and confidential assistant to the Dean of Business and Administration.Collect and distribute daily mail.
  3. Answer telephone and channel calls.
  4. Process all forms.
  5. Assume responsibility for general office filing.
  6. Assist with office visits and telephone concerns.
  7. Inventory and order office supplies.
  8. Assist with pre-registration and registration within the division.
  9. Supervise work-study students.
  10. Assist with grade entry and data entry.
  11. Prepare minutes of all meetings conducted by the Dean.
  12. Other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required. Must have the ability to work under pressure and facilitate multiple detailed tasks. At least one to three years of experience in office structure. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must exhibit professionalism, integrity and confidentiality. Must have excellent skills in MS Word, data entry, filing and record keeping procedures. Must have knowledge of how to compile various spreadsheets using Excel. Must be comfortable with the use of Jenzabar in information processing.

The history of Talladega College began on November 20, 1865, when two former slaves William Savery and Thomas Tarrant, both of Talladega, met in convention with a group of new freedmen in Mobile, Alabama.
