Responsibilities
Reports to the Provost/VP for Academic Affairs. The director must maintain a databank of information about the College including, but not limited to the areas of retention, outcome assessment, funding, student population, planning and evaluation, admission, registration, academic, business and student affairs. The director also coordinates development of strategic planning activities on a College-wide basis. Develop, analyze, and distribute research information on students, programs, and other institutions. Must have experience in institutional effectiveness, planning and evaluation and/or institutional research. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree required/Master’s degree preferred. Strong quantitative/analytical skills as well as oral and written skills required. At least 1 to 3 years of experience in related field. Must be able to meet deadlines, communicate effectively and perform complex detail work.

The history of Talladega College began on November 20, 1865, when two former slaves William Savery and Thomas Tarrant, both of Talladega, met in convention with a group of new freedmen in Mobile, Alabama.
