Description:

Network Administrator
Install, configure, maintain and support the organization's local area network (LAN). Maintain network hardware and software. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers.
Responsibilities:
Experience supporting, implementing and administering networks such as Microsoft Windows, Active directory and Group Policies (GPO)
Supporting, implementing and administering Microsoft SQL 2008 required
Experience supporting Windows 7 desktop/laptop PCs
Demonstrated experience of Exchange 2010
Demonstrated experience in configuring complex switches, routers and firewall environment
Experience configuring VPNs for remote access
Experience in backup and disaster recovery
Experience with VMware and resource planning
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field with one or more courses in current technology. Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE); Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA); Network + Certification. Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Administrator on a medium sized network of servers, desktop systems and communications devices using current technologies.
