Talladega College welcomes everyone who can
imagine a world made better through a higher education at this great
institution. Our goal is to “Return
Talladega Back to Preeminence.” With
the help of Alumni and friends, faculty, staff, and students, we will celebrate
the birth of our historic campus and th
e installation of our new President, Dr.
Billy C. Hawkins. Together, we will
continue to show the world how the learning experiences gathered here will make
the world a better place in the 21st century.
Hundreds of College employees and volunteers are making preparations to visit Talladega this November. The inauguration of President, Dr. Billy C. Hawkins is an opportunity for you to meet him as well as to experience all the Talladega College experience.
The dates for Founders’/Inauguration Week are November 2- 9, 2008. We recognize that this year, the annual event has been scheduled a week later. In an effort to be fiscally responsible, the decision was made to combine both events.
All of the Founders’ week activities are free, and most are open to the public. Formal inauguration invitations will be mailed to delegates and dignitaries in late September. Individuals who received formal invitations will have R.S.V.P. cards, information on all Founders’ week activities, and information on lodging and parking.
