The department encourages its staff members to be cordial to users, develop a stronger sense of responsibility for themselves and for the user community, work in a team environment and do their best with limited resources. The department recognizes that users have the best chance to be more productive when we, at the Information Technology Department, accept the responsibility of commitment. We strive to provide the best customer service around.
We provide services for the following areas: network, Internet, telephone/voicemail, cable TV, electronic mail (e-mail), computer (TC computers only), Administrative and Student Records System.
The mission of the Information Technology Department is to build a solid comprehensive technology infrastructure; maintain an efficient, effective operations environment; deliver high quality, timely services which support Talladega College’s mission in teaching, learning and research.
