The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is a service unit within Academic Affairs. OSP provides faculty and administrative staff with guidance and technical assistance to identify, procure, and administer grant and contract funding in support of research curriculum development, student research training, outreach and other departmental initiatives.
The management of research grants, contracts and sponsored programs is conducted through cooperation between the academic, administrative, and financial divisions of the College. Pre-award and post-award services are provided to faculty to ensure that proposals are competitive, deliverables are achieved, expenditures are in compliance, and reports and project close-out is accurate and timely.
Talladega College continues to seek funding from private sources, foundations, corporations and federal agencies. Currently, the college has over $15 million in funding from the sources given above.
