PRESIDENTIAL SEARCH

Dear Talladega College Community,

The search process for the 21st President of Talladega College is underway. A Search Committee representing all campus constituents including faculty, staff, students, alumni, and the Talladega Board of Trustees has been named. The search committee will review all applicants, identify candidates for interviews, and recommend individuals to the Talladega Board of Trustees, who will make the final selection. To recruit the best candidates, the search will remain confidential throughout the process until the finalists arrive on campus.

We have retained WittKieffer, an international executive search firm, to assist us in this search. Our search consultants include Oliver Tomlin, Greg Duyck, and Christine Pendleton, who visited the campus on August 26, 2021, to officially begin the search process.

The first steps in this process are for WittKieffer to understand Talladega College's culture, strengths, and priorities. This will enable the firm to establish candidate criteria. Those who were unable to attend the meeting on August 26th can offer their thoughts about the qualities that are important in our next president by participating in the Talladega College community survey. Inquiries, nominations, and applications are invited and should be submitted via email to TalladegaPresident@wittkieffer.com.

If you have questions about the search process, please send a note to the Talladega College email dedicated to the search: TCSearch2021@gmail.com. The search committee or its representative will respond to your inquiry.
