Talladega College, Alabama's first private historically black liberal arts college, has been known for academic excellence for over 150 years. Talladega College, located in the historic district of the city of Talladega, Alabama, is noted for its breathtaking historic buildings and state-of-the-art facilities. General Student & Family Visit Information

  • All guests must pre-register for a campus visit. We are unable to accommodate walk-in visit requests as well as visits outside of our published standard visit times.

  • All campus visits will ONLY be facilitated by staff/student ambassadors who have been trained by the Talladega College Office of Admissions.

 

Student/Family Campus Visits are held on:

  • Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 

    •  9:00am – 11:00am (CST).

    • Check in for MW&F campus visits is at 8:30am (CST). Please plan to arrive on time.

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays

    • 2:00pm – 4:00pm (CST).

    • Check in for T&Th campus visits is at 1:30pm (CST). Please plan to arrive on time.

  • Student/Family visitors must report to the 2nd floor of the Student Activity Center in the Admissions Office for check-in.

  • The campus visit experience consists of an admissions presentation followed by a 60-minutes WALKING TOUR. Comfortable shoes are recommended.

  • Students are limited to THREE (3) guests during the visit.

  • Any student under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • Campus Visits will be provided during inclement weather such as rain, chilly/cold, and humid weather unless otherwise notified by the Office of Admissions.

  • FREE Parking is available in the Student Activity Center Parking Lot.

  • Student/Family visitors arriving 20 minutes (late) after the scheduled student/family visit start time may be subjected to a self-guided tour.

 

General Group Visit Information

  • All interested Groups MUST submit a Group Visit Request and MUST receive written approval from the Talladega College Office of Admissions before visiting.

  • Talladega College defines a standard group size as not less than 10 and not more than 40 persons (to include Chaperones or persons accompanying the group).

    • If less than 10 persons, please have each student register individually under the “Student/Family” visit type.

    • If larger than 40, an email request must be submitted for special approval to campusvisits@talladega.edu 

 

Group Visits are held on:

  • Mondays and Wednesdays 

    • Time: 10:00am (CST). 

    • Check in for group visits will be at 9:30am (CST)

  • Groups please check in on the 2nd Floor of the Student Activity Center in the Office of Admissions.
