Talladega College is searching for an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join us as the Assistant Soccer Coach!
About Talladega College Athletics: Talladega College Soccer competes in the Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) of the NAIA. Other sports compete in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC), recently named the HBCU Conference.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree is required. • A minimum of 1-3 years of previous soccer coaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of soccer techniques, strategies, and rules.
• Knowledge of the evaluation and assessment of student-athlete skills and abilities.
• Knowledgeable in film evaluation techniques and software as well as editing.
• Ability to identify and successfully recruit talented prospective student athletes for the sport of soccer.
• Ability to motivate and empower team members.
• Initiative to solve problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and people skills to effectively connect with student-athletes, coaching staff, and university stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Commitment to the academic success and personal development of student athletes.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required by the position.
• Preference will be given to candidates with college women and goalkeeper coach experience, and collegiate playing experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
