Talladega College is launching its new AI Educator Program, an innovative initiative designed to equip leaders across diverse educational sectors with cutting-edge artificial intelligence skills. Offered through the College’s Workforce Development and Adult Learning Program, the series is created in partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to foster practical expertise and foster workforce alignment.

Talladega College continues to celebrate a pivotal academic year with an increase in student enrollment. The College announced that Fall 2026 enrollment is up nearly 14% since Fall 2025. The surge marks Talladega’s highest enrollment since 2022 and reverses a three-year decline. The College has also increased its student retention from 60% in 2025 to 62% in 2026.

Talladega College announced the appointment of Steven DeCaprio as the director of development and philanthropy. Bringing 25 years of experience in environmental and civil rights nonprofit leadership, DeCaprio joins Talladega to drive strategic fundraising initiatives and advance the mission of Alabama’s oldest private historically Black institution of higher learning.

Talladega College has named Paula G. Love as its new vice president of fiscal affairs and chief financial officer. Love brings more than 20 years of higher education leadership experience in finance, operations, compliance, and institutional strategy to the role.
