The Department of Fine Arts at Talladega College in Talladega, AL is accepting applications for Adjunct/Part-time Professor to teach Sculpture to commence during the 2023-2024 academic year with fall classes beginning August 2023.
Responsibilities:
Prepare lectures, presentations, demonstrations and teach assigned content area; provide a syllabus for assigned courses; provide assessments for the specified content area; evaluate and grade student assignments; maintain student attendance records and recorded grades for the courses; maintain office hours; provide academic advising; attend departmental and division meeting, perform additional duties assigned by Department Chair/Dean of Humanities and Fine Arts; and adhere to all policies and procedures provided by the institution. Must have knowledge of, or is able to learn the institution’s online platforms Canvas and Jenzabar.
Qualifications:
Master of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Sculpture. The candidate must have 18 graduate hours in the teaching field. The successful candidate must be able to teach multiple levels of undergraduates.
