Certified Electrician

Summary

To perform routine maintenance duties including rough carpentry, painting, and basic equipment or facility and vehicle repairs. All carpentry, electrical work, or simple plumbing repairs are performed under supervision by qualified personnel.

Requirements

A certified electrician with proven experience specializing in designing, installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems. The ability to use electrical and hand tools. Read and understand drawings, site diagrams, and electrical blueprints. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations, and guidelines. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Must be able to move around the installation site for long hours, carrying heavy electrical equipment and tools. Must be able to document service projects, and repairs, and organize financial documents for submission to the Finance and Administration office. Must be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers, co-workers, and leadership. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

• Reliable transportation needed. Ability to perform occasional work in a confined space.
• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in Electricity, building maintenance technology preferred.
• Must be steady, reliable worker.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license preferably
• Must be detail oriented with strong manual ability and problem solving skills.
