Ms. Amanda Haywood-Cotton has been a full-time English instructor at Talladega College since 2019. She teaches English 101, Technical Writing, and World Literature 210 & 211. For three years prior she was an adjunct faculty member. She has also taught at Gadsden Community College and Saks Middle School.
Ms. Haywood-Cotton is currently working on an Ed.D. She earned an M.A. in Counselor Education, an M.A. in English and a B.A. in Psychology in English from Jacksonville State University.
She is a member of the National Council of Teachers in English, the Alabama Counselor Association, and the National Success and Leadership Society.
