Dr. Centdrika Hurt serves as Associate Professor and Chair of the Biology Department at Talladega College. A molecular biologist by training, Dr. Hurt’s research centers on identifying key signaling pathways and molecular factors involved in the development and metastasis of breast, pancreatic, and brain cancers. Her work seeks to uncover the biological mechanisms that drive these aggressive diseases, with the goal of informing targeted therapies and improving patient outcomes.
As an educator, Dr. Hurt is deeply committed to integrating hands-on experiences and real-world applications into both classroom instruction and research environments.
