Sherrica Davis-Hunt currently serves as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Development and Alumni Relations, and Chief Diversity Officer at the Southern Illinois University Foundation. She joined the Southern Illinois University Foundation in 2022 as the first development director for diversity, equity, and inclusion. She previously served as Director of Institutional Advancement at Bishop State Community College in Mobile, Alabama where she started the college's first advancement office, oversaw the Foundation's operations and the college's philanthropic initiatives.
Davis-Hunt has over 15 years of domestic and international experience in business development and marketing in investment banking, technology, nonprofit, and higher education sectors. Davis-Hunt has been honored in Mobile Bay Magazine as a member of the 2019 Class of 40 under 40, and as a Women’s Policy Institute Fellow for the Women’s Foundation of Alabama. She released her first book in 2023 titled, Networking and Lattes:10 Steps to Networking.
