In the heart of South Florida, a television legacy unfolds each week as Lee Pitts ’82 takes the stage on his self-titled show, Lee Pitts Live. For over 30 years, the program has become the longest-running TV talk show in the region’s history.

As we wrap up Black History Month, we pay tribute to the 23 Talladega College Alumni who have become college or university presidents.

In a spirited exhibit of esteem and remembrance, Talladega College’s Black History Month Convocation took center stage at the DeForest Chapel last Thursday, February 8th.

Talladega College is pleased to announce its annual Black History Month Convocation that will be held on Thursday, February 8, at 11:00 a.m., in the historic DeForest Chapel. The College cordially invites community members, alumni, and supporters to commemorate the rich tapestry of Black history by joining us for this educational and inspiring event.

Talladega College Trustee Mr. Charles Matthews, ’78, and his sisters Gladys Matthews, ’74 (deceased) and Belinda Matthews Stenson, ’82, all graduated from Talladega College.
