Talladega College announced today that registration is open for a special 12-week accelerated academic session beginning September 9, 2026. Designed for recent high school graduates and workforce veterans looking to launch their degree, the session offers a direct pathway to complete core general education requirements toward a bachelor’s degree. The session is also open to current high school students who are interested in dual enrollment.
Whether balancing career commitments or deciding late to enroll for the fall, prospective students can step into a nationally recognized academic environment. This year, Forbes ranked Talladega #8 among Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and U.S. News & World Report ranked it #20 in Social Mobility.
As an incentive, Talladega is offering a tuition discount to students who wish to live on campus. The deadline to add or drop courses for this accelerated session is September 11, 2026.
