Talladega College is bringing back The Perfect Knot after the program’s successful debut in 2025. President Willie J. Todd Jr., in partnership with Mister Talladega College, will host the event Tuesday, September 8, 2026, in the Student Activity Center Ballroom at 5 p.m.
“The Perfect Knot event is a vital opportunity for our male students to learn an essential life skill that enhances their confidence and professionalism,” said Todd. “Tying a tie is more than just a fashion statement; it represents readiness and respect in any formal setting. As we embark on our second year alongside Mister Talladega College, we are proud to provide each participant with a free tie, reinforcing our commitment to their personal development and success.”
All students who attend will receive a free tie. The event will be a hands-on session where participants will learn how to properly tie neckties, which chief of staff Taran McZee describes as “a timeless skill that supports professionalism, confidence, and leadership.”
