DeKalb County, Georgia, natives Jevon Tatum and Carl White III took second place at the recent Historically Black Colleges and Universities Business Pitch Competition during the Magic City Classic.

Following a Fall 2023 unanimous Board of Trustees vote, Talladega College has announced that its Center for Cybersecurity, a National Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD), will be renamed in honor of Essye B. Miller, ‘85, a distinguished member of the TC Board of Trustees.

Alabama Power, a leading energy provider committed to supporting education and community development, has made a generous donation of $100,000 to Talladega College.

Coined the “Early Assurance Program,” Talladega College and the Arkansas College of Healthcare Education proudly announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, outlining an agreement to establish a program that provides two pathways for Talladega College students to gain admission into a participating Arkansas College of Health Education (ACHE) program.

Mrs. Rica Lewis-Payton, Class of ’81, was elected chair of the Talladega College Board of Trustees on November 3, 2023. Mr. Terry Smiley, vice president for the Eastern Division of Alabama Power and longtime supporter of the College, was elected Board of Trustees vice chair, and Dr. Monique Gardner-Witherspoon, associate provost and associate professor in Education Leadership at Samford College, was named Board of Trustees secretary.
