Dr. Autumm Jeter, a 2001 graduate of Talladega College and the assistant superintendent for support services for the Alabama State Department of Education, will deliver the keynote address at the annual Honors Convocation at 11 a.m. on April 3, 2025 in DeForest Chapel. The event is held to recognize Talladega College students for their outstanding academic performance, leadership and service to the college community.
“This is a wonderful time of year at Talladega College,” said Dr. Edward Hill, provost and vice president for academic affairs. “The students who work hard in the classroom deserve to be recognized for their hard work, so it is our distinct pleasure to recognize those Degans who are doing the work to achieve academic excellence. And to have an alum who they can truly look up to, in Autumm Jeter, will provide these deserving students even more motivation to keep up the great work.”
