What challenged you the most about the work you did over the summer?
The most challenging thing about my summer at Furman University was actually doing organic research as a freshman who has only taken general chemistry. But in the end, I feel this experience prepared me for the coursework that was to come this semester, and I am excelling.
What did you enjoy the most about the work you did over the summer?
The things that I enjoyed most about this summer were that I got to create new relationships and connections with people that could be helpful in the future. Also, this summer taught me great trial and error in the laboratory setting and strengthened my professional development skills not only as a student but as a growing young woman.
