The Talladega College Board of Trustees approved tenure for Dr. Edward L. Hill Jr. during their May 1 meeting. Hill currently serves as the provost and vice president for academic affairs.
Prior to becoming the provost and vice president for academic affairs, Hill served as the vice president of strategic initiatives and associate provost. He briefly served as Talladega’s interim president in 2024.
Hill holds an Ed.D. in educational leadership from South Carolina State University, an M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction from Columbia College, and a bachelor’s in elementary education from Morehouse College.
