In addition to his acting achievements, Williams has successfully transitioned into directing, with six feature films under his belt since 2019, including “Birdie” (Sony Pictures/Pureflix) and “Reunion” (Apple TV & Prime). His work has garnered top honors at prestigious film festivals, showcasing his talent and dedication to storytelling.

His essay “For Black, Brown, and Beige, Baby Girls” and his book “A Gathering of Heroes” further highlight his commitment to social issues and empowerment.
