The Tornado Market Food Pantry and Resource Center

Located in the Basement of DeForest Chapel

At Talladega College, we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to thrive academically, personally, and professionally. That’s why we’re proud to introduce the Tornado Market—an on-campus food pantry and resource center designed to support our students’ basic needs.

What is the Tornado Market?

The Tornado Market is a vital resource for Talladega College students who may be facing food insecurity or struggling to meet their basic needs. Located conveniently on campus, the Tornado Market provides a safety net for our students, ensuring that they can concentrate on their studies and extracurricular activities with confidence knowing that their basic needs are met.

How Does It Work?

Students can access the Tornado Market discreetly and with dignity. No questions are asked, and no judgment is passed. Our goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all students feel supported and empowered to succeed.
