Talladega College has been recognized in the U.S. News & World Report 2026 Best Colleges Rankings, earning distinction in the Social Mobility – Regional Colleges (South) category. The rankings were officially published this past fall.
This recognition highlights Talladega College’s continued commitment to expanding access to higher education and supporting student success, particularly for students from underserved and underrepresented backgrounds. The Social Mobility ranking measures how well institutions graduate students who receive federal Pell Grants, reflecting the college’s mission-driven focus on opportunity, equity, and outcomes.
“We are proud to be recognized by U.S. News & World Report for our work in advancing social mobility,” said Talladega College President Dr. Willie L. Todd, Jr. “This honor affirms our commitment to reimagining liberal arts education in ways that prepare students not only for meaningful careers, but for leadership, service, and lifelong impact. At Talladega College, we remain focused on creating pathways to success that transform lives and communities.”
As a result of its high ranking, Talladega College is eligible to promote this achievement using official U.S. News & World Report badges, further amplifying the institution’s national visibility and reputation.
