Talladega College has been awarded a $50,000 grant from the Women’s Foundation of Alabama (WFA) as part of the Foundation’s Fall 2025 Grant Cycle, recognizing the College’s commitment to advancing women’s economic opportunity through education, workforce preparation, and leadership development.

Talladega College will present a special tribute concert in celebration of the Investiture of Dr. Willie L. Todd, Jr. as the College’s 22nd President, featuring renowned Grammy Award–winning artist and Broadway icon Jennifer Holliday. The concert will take place on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. CT in the Henry Swift DeForest Chapel on the Talladega College campus.

Talladega College has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Presbyterian Home for Children – Talladega to establish a practicum affiliation that will provide hands-on learning experiences for students enrolled in the College’s Bachelor of Arts in Social Work (BASW) degree program.

Talladega College has been recognized in the U.S. News & World Report 2026 Best Colleges Rankings, earning distinction in the Social Mobility – Regional Colleges (South) category. The rankings were officially published this past fall.

This week, Talladega College is hosting its 2026 Faculty and Staff Institute, bringing together faculty and staff from across the institution for shared learning, collaboration, and professional development. The Institute will feature an Artificial Intelligence session supported through a pilot collaboration with Cisco’s Community Enablement team.
