Kristayvion Johnson, a senior majoring in mass communications, has been selected for an internship with the Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama (CFNEA). CFNEA is a qualified 501(c)(3) public charity recognized by the Alabama attorney general and the Internal Revenue Service. Hammonds receives scholarship from the National Alumni Association

Taylor Hammonds was recently awarded the 2021 Talladega College National Alumni Association-Talladega Chapter scholarship. Hammonds is a presidential scholar and is currently majoring in Elementary/Special Education. She is the fifth generation of Estelle's to attend Talladega College. Her great-grandfather, William Demus Frazier, also taught at the institution for many years. Hammonds is the daughter of Calvin Hammonds and Ms. Erika Frazier Hammonds, both of Talladega, Ala.
