Job Summary

The Department of Fine Arts at Talladega College in Talladega, AL is accepting applications for Adjunct/ Part-time Professor to teach Ceramics/Sculpture to commence during the 2018-2019 academic year with fall classes beginning August 22, 2018 and spring classes beginning January 10, 2019.

Responsibilities:

Prepare lectures, presentations, demonstrations and teach assigned content area; provide a syllabus for assigned courses; provide assessments for specified content area; evaluate and grade student assignments; maintain student attendance records and recorded grades for the courses; maintain office hours; provide academic advising; attend departmental and division meeting, perform additional duties assigned by Department Chair/Dean of Humanities and Fine Arts; and adhere to all policies and procedures provided by the institution.

Qualifications:

Master of Fine Arts with emphasis in Ceramics/Sculpture. Candidate must have 18 graduate hours in the teaching field. The successful candidate must be able to teach multiple levels of undergraduates.
