Job Summary


  1. Assist the Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Research in the oversight of reports, assessments, planning and evaluation and other related administrative activities with and for the assigned program areas.
  2. Assists with the overall operation of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Research
  3. Key participant in the college's strategic planning effort in regards with Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP)
  4. A team leader in creating and maintaining an open, collaborative, and inclusive college environment on student learning and student success.
  5. Work with faculty, administration, and staff to guarantee a successful submission and implement of the QEP as per SACSCOC standards
  6. Ensures that faculty, chairperson, Dean and Student Services provide the feedback needed to develop the framework of QEP
  7. Provides leadership in the design and implement of new policies, procedures, pedagogies, curricula facilities, and training necessary to achieve the QEP goals.
  8. Develops and leads the activities of the QEP committee and its subcommittees.
  9. Acts as a liaison and coordinator with external stakeholders to obtain input into the QEP development and implementation.
  10. Prepare a detailed analysis of QEP development, as well as status and performance through set of benchmarks to measure the progress towards achieving QEP goals.
  11. Monitor SACSCOC requirements to ensure compliance.


Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution. A minimum of one (1) year SACSCOC experience to demonstrating general understanding of SACSCOC requirement. Knowledge of education research methods, quantities and qualitative data analysis, and report writing. Ability to install software and use effectively. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to handle multiple priorities.

The history of Talladega College began on November 20, 1865, when two former slaves William Savery and Thomas Tarrant, both of Talladega, met in convention with a group of new freedmen in Mobile, Alabama.
