The Amistad Murals consists of three panels: The Revolt, The Court Scene, and Back to Africa. They are housed in Savery Library and are known as one of artist Hale Aspacio Woodruff???s best known works.

CURRENT STUDENT REGISTRATION PROCESS FOR SUMMER AND FALL 2019

ONE: Financial Aid Status Verification. Students will check in with Financial Aid staff in Seymour Hall to verify summer aid eligibility, etc. and complete FAFSA for 2019-20.

TWO: Business Office Station. Students will check in with Business Office staff in Sumner Hall to determine payment, if any, needed for summer school, discuss balance, and applicable fees for fall 2019.

THREE: Housing Station. Students will check in with Housing Office staff in Sumner Hall and receive information on how to apply for on campus housing, applicable fees, etc.

FOUR: Academic Advisement. The advisor will assist the student with the selection of courses which he/she will register for during summer and/or fall 2019, answer or address concerns student may have, and then refer the student to MyTalladega for schedule entry.

FIVE: Schedule Entry on MyTalladega. Students will go to MyTalladega and enter their ID# and PIN and click on Students, Course Information, and Drop/Add. The Personal Data Form and Registration Agreement must be completed before courses can be entered. The student will choose the term 2018-2019 Academic Year-Summer Semester to enter summer courses, SAVE, then exit and choose the term 2019-2020 Academic Year-Fall Semester to enter fall courses.

Reminders: LAST DAY FOR SUMMER REGISTRATION IS JUNE 7, 2019. BE ATTENTIVE TO START AND END DATES FOR SUMMER SESSIONS (ONLINE AND ON CAMPUS). LAST DAY FOR "EARLY" FALL REGISTRATION IS AUGUST 2, 2019.

CLASSES BEGIN ON AUGUST 21, 2019.

Students MUST "physically" and financially confirm their registration before 5:00 p.m. on September 5, 2019 to avoid dropping of courses.

The history of Talladega College began on November 20, 1865, when two former slaves William Savery and Thomas Tarrant, both of Talladega, met in convention with a group of new freedmen in Mobile, Alabama.
