Welcome to the Information Technology Department. As you manuvear through this site you will find information regarding our services, technical support, staffing, policies, and procedures.
The department encourages its staff members to be cordial to users, develop a stronger sense of responsibility for themselves and for the user community, work in a team environment and do their best with limited resources. The department recognizes that users have the best chance to be more productive when we, at the Information Technology Department, accept the responsibility of commitment. We strive to provide the best customer service around.
We provide services for the following areas: network, Internet, telephone/voicemail, cable TV, electronic mail (e-mail), computer (TC computers only), Administrative and Student Records System.
The mission of the Information Technology Department is to build a solid comprehensive technology infrastructure; maintain an efficient, effective operations environment; deliver high quality, timely services which support Talladega College?s mission in teaching, learning and research.
The Information Technology Department has set-up a centralized avenue for all technical support problems. This avenue will provide users to enter, check the status of technical problems. You can access the helpdesk by clicking here (Help Desk.)

The history of Talladega College began on November 20, 1865, when two former slaves William Savery and Thomas Tarrant, both of Talladega, met in convention with a group of new freedmen in Mobile, Alabama.
