It’s important to note that any comments regarding the quality of professional education programs must be made within the specified period and should be based on the core tenets of CAEP accreditation standards. These standards recognize that accreditation is based on evidence demonstrating that teacher candidates possess a strong understanding of the subject matter and can teach it effectively in a P-12 classroom setting.

A professional education provider accredited by CAEP is expected to be involved in ongoing planning and evaluation, engaged in continuous assessment and development, and ensure that faculty and programs reflect new knowledge, practice, and technologies. They should also be involved in continuous development in response to the changing world of education and educational reform.

If you would like to provide feedback, it should address substantive matters related to the quality of professional education programs offered at the college. Additionally, please specify your relationship to the institution (such as being a graduate, present or former faculty member, or employer of graduates). Copies of all correspondence received will be sent to the university for comment before being reviewed.
