On Thursday, April 11, 2024, the Dr. William R. Harvey Museum of Art at Talladega College continues its monthly Brown Bag Lunch Lecture Series with a public presentation at noon with Perry H. Trice, Librarian and Archivist at Talladega College’s Savery Library and Curator of the special exhibition on the art of Dr. Arthur Bacon.

On Thursday, March 7, 2024, the Dr. William R. Harvey Museum of Art at Talladega College continues its monthly Brown Bag Lunch Lecture Series with a public presentation and gallery tour at noon with Dr. Joan Fobbs on the artist, writer, and prize-winning navigator, Titouan Lamazou.

The Amistad Murals painted by Hale Woodruff are at the center of an agreement between Talladega College and the Smithsonian American Art Museum (SAAM) as part of the HBCU Digital Art Project.

Talladega’s Amistad Murals received their annual checkup this summer when Amanda Kasman, Assistant Painting Conservator with the Atlanta Art Conservation Center (AACC), visited the galleries in June to inspect the large-scale works of Art.

The Harvey Museum of Art's monthly "Brown Bag" lunch lecture series continues on Thursday, October 5, at noon with a free, open-to-the-public presentation with Salaam Green.
