Museum Naming Opportunities

You can leave a legacy and further the mission of Talladega College by pledging your support to our Celebrate the Transformation naming campaign. Our comprehensive selection of naming opportunities allows you to attach your name, or the name of an individual or business you would like to honor, to a designated space in the Dr. William R. Harvey Museum of Art (above), the Dr. Billy C. Hawkins Student Activity Center (right), the new residence hall (right, lower image), or the new stadium.

The Dr. William R. Harvey Museum of Art, which opened in January 2020, houses six acclaimed Hale Woodruff murals.  Three of Woodruff’s panels, known as the Amistad Murals, were the first pieces of twentieth century art to commemorate the 1839 slave uprising on the Spanish ship La Amistad.  The incident provoked several court cases which went all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. The captives were ultimately repatriated to their home country in 1842.

Contact Mr. Earl Warren at ewarren@talladega.edu to purchase naming rights to spaces in the museum, the residence hall, the student center or the stadium.
