Description:

Talladega College is seeking a Fall Semester Photography Intern for the Office of Public Relations. Applicants should be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree related to photo journalism, photography, or a related field. Demonstrated photography and photo editing ability is required and experience in Adobe Bridge and Photoshop is preferred. The intern will have an opportunity to improve photography skills by shooting action and still photos and editing photos for social media and website usage. Interns will also be invited to participate in a free career development workshop. Hours will be flexible to accommodate school and/or work schedules. Interns must be able to provide their own equipment. Please submit your resume, a recommendation letter from one instructor and three samples of your best photography. This is an unpaid internship.

The history of Talladega College began on November 20, 1865, when two former slaves William Savery and Thomas Tarrant, both of Talladega, met in convention with a group of new freedmen in Mobile, Alabama.
