Job Summary

Work Description:

Developing, supervising, and promoting intramural activities designed to meet the recreational needs of students, faculty, and staff. This is a nine (9) month full time position that will report directly to the Vice President for Student Affairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting, hiring, evaluating, and certifying all intramural student employees.
  • Developing all budget requests.
  • Coordination and utilization of schedules and maintenance needs of recreational facilities, to include but not limited to the gym and intramural fields.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for intramural programs.
  • Evaluation of intramural programs and activities.
  • Interpretation of guidelines and statutes involving Intramural Sport Councils.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Sports/Recreation required (Master's degree preferred) or a closely related field.
  • A Minimum of four years' experience in a collegiate recreational sports setting.
  • Experience as a Director of Intramural Sports or related experience.
